Do you understand the shrinkage rate of POF heat shrink film?

As we all know, heat shrink film is widely used for the outer packaging of various products such as food, pharmaceuticals, sterilized tableware, sports and cultural items, crafts, printed materials, hardware and plastic products, telephones, electronics, and more. It is particularly useful for irregularly shaped items or composite (bundled) packaging, providing functions like moisture and dust resistance, anti-tampering, transparent display, and enhancing product appeal.

It can also replace various types of cardboard boxes, saving packaging costs and aligning with packaging trends. Shrink films (bags) can be processed into flat bags, arc-shaped bags, trapezoidal bags, three-dimensional bags, and other irregular bags.

In the heat shrink process, various sizes of film are directly heated using far-infrared radiation. Products are conveyed to the shrink tunnel via a conveyor belt. The products are then placed in shrink packaging film, sealed, and entered into the shrink packaging machine. The products will shrink automatically. The heat shrink packaging machine consumes little electricity, with an average power consumption of only 2.1KW per hour, achieving a reasonable shrink packaging effect without affecting the packaged items. It features electronic infinite speed regulation, solid-state voltage regulator temperature control, stability, and reliability, suitable for heat shrink packaging in food, beverages, candies, cultural products, hardware tools, daily necessities, chemical products, and more.

Heat shrink film needs to be used in conjunction with a heat shrink machine. It is relatively brittle, and when the heat shrink machine is turned on and directed towards the film, the film will shrink. If operated correctly, it will look good. Stretch film, on the other hand, is softer and is wrapped around the outside when palletizing goods. It not only protects packaged items from impact, rain, moisture, and rust but also enhances the product's appeal with beautifully printed packaging, establishing a positive image for the manufacturer.

Heat shrink film is a thin film packaging material with excellent transparency. It allows customers to directly see the packaged products, facilitating product selection. It conforms closely to the product shape and can be used for packaging various shaped products. The packaging content is extensive, with excellent anti-tampering and dust resistance properties. It can package multiple products in a single heat shrink bag to prevent individual small products from being lost and make it convenient for customers to carry. By selecting different resins and formulations, environmentally friendly shrink films with varying mechanical strengths and functions can be produced. These can be used for both low-strength, small-volume internal packaging and for mechanical products in containers that require higher strength, construction materials, and transportation packaging (external packaging).

During the production process of heat shrink film, it is stretched in a high-temperature environment, rapidly cooled, and then reaches the intended shape. When heated during use, it reverts to its original form, with varying degrees of uneven heat and shrinkage depending on the design. The manufacturing of heat shrink film involves first producing a thick film through extrusion blow molding or extrusion casting, then sufficiently softening it at the melting temperature, followed by biaxial stretching in both horizontal and vertical directions.

Its characteristics include good clarity, easy shrinkability, high strength, adjustable shrinkage rate according to user needs, and strong operability. Printing-grade PVC heat shrink film, as the name suggests, is used for printing and can be processed into printed labels. The majority of beverages on the market use PVC labels, such as those on bottles of tea, mineral water, and green tea.
